Every two years St Patrick's College organises a two-week immersion to Japan for Year 9 - 12 boys who have been studying Japanese at the school.
In 2016, the College is taking 20 boys on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure and will leave Australia on Monday, June 20 bound for Osaka.
The tour highlights will include visits to the ancient capitals of Kyoto and Nara. It will then take in the sights of Hiroshima and Miya-jima followed by a shinkansen trip to Tokyo where the boys will enjoy a weekend homestay at Matsuyama.
Throughout the course of this year's excursion teacher Miss Jennifer Casey will provide a daily diary which will be updated at the links below.
