Friends of Music
The St Patrick’s College Friends of Music role is to support the College Music Faculty and Bands in any way possible to enhance the education and training of the students. Whether it be in the way of financial support or to be seen as a welcoming body for new parents.
The College has a Concert Band, a Stage Band and various Junior Bands to provide training for prospective members. The Bands enter various competitions within Victoria and participate in theatrical and entertainment activities within the school and for outside groups within the local community.
The Friends of Music Objective is:
To assist the College in providing first class educational facilities and programmes for St Patrick's College music and band students.
To engage in fundraising activities to provide improved facilities and programmes for students and staff of the College Music Faculty.
To provide social opportunities for parents and friends and also to music and band students in order to help develop a genuine sense of community within the College Music Faculty.
