On the 6th of April half of us had to wake up at 5:00 am to go fishing, while the lucky ones got to sleep in till 9:30 am. The first group got split into three boats and cruised an hour out of Cullen Bay. There we were told how to bait, cast out our fishing lines and the techniques on how to catch a fish. As soon as we dropped our lines in we caught Jewfish, they put up a big fight but they were no match for the Patty Boys. Meanwhile the second group went to the Darwin Museum and looked at the different species of animals that live in N.T, we saw many pieces of art work and we learnt about the history of Darwin in particular Cyclone Tracey. We relaxed for a couple of hours on our return to the Freespirit resort. At 6:30 pm we meet up at the resort restaurant to have dinner. We listened to an inspirational speaker Mick Elliott talk about his work life experiences in the police force and he reinforced to us the key attributes to becoming a good leader.
