We have been notified of the passing of Louise Ramon (Ray) Kervarec (SPC 1939-42, PY1944) on 9 May 2025.
Ray was 96 years.
Ray started as a day student in junior class and later switched to boarding, completing his sub-intermediate B classes.
He was a member of the St Rock’s Competition’s Cricket XI premiership team as well as a premiership player in the Junior Park Competition.
Ray was a member of the premiership-winning 1940 St Roch’s Competition football team as well.
An active member of school, the 1939-40 College Annual records Ray performing in a violin quartet with fellow students W Lawson, R Rosser and J Formby as part of the annual Speech Night program.
At the time, there were 220 boarders and 100 day boys at St Patrick’s College.
