Isaac wins City of Ballarat Youth Volunteer Award

Isaac Postlethwaite after winning the City of Ballarat's Youth Volunteer Award.

Congratulations to Old Collegian Isaac Postlethwaite (SPC 2014-19) who won the City of Ballarat Youth Volunteer Award at a glittering awards ceremony on Friday night.

Everyone who knows Isaac can agree he has a heart of gold! He was recognised for his amazing volunteer work with Ballarat Neighbourhood Centre, St Vinnies and Redan FC, always going above and beyond. From preparing community lunches to supporting local footy games, Isaac’s enthusiasm, commitment and “never give up” attitude inspire all who know him.

A special shout-out also to Year 12 classmates Brendan Monaghan and Mitch Chalmers who were both nominated for the Positive Leader Award. Brendan, our College Vice-Captain, was recognised for his College-wide fundraiser for International Women’s Day, while Mitch was applauded for his efforts to raise funds for cancer research, championing Caritas initiatives and supporting younger students through school transition. Well done to Isaac, Brendan and Mitch!
