Michael Tobin (SPC 1943)

Michael Joseph Tobin (SPC 1943) sadly passed away in his 96^th year on 7 June 2024.

Michael was born on 13 September 1928 and attended SPC for one year in his sub-intermediate year. He and his brother Tom (SPC 1941-46) were full-time boarders from ‘Avondale’, Winslow, north of Warrnambool.

Michael returned to the farm after school. He was devoted to his family including his wife Camille and children Jane, Peter (dec), Frank, Gerard, Suzanne, Gabrielle and their families.

A Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Warrnambool on 14 June 2024.

Michael (pictured above under the name J Tobin) was a member of SPC’s Sub-Intermediate class in 1943.
