2020 BAS Swimming Championships

BAS Swimming Carnival
Following the House Swimming Sports in Week 4, we participated in the 2020 BAS Swimming Carnival on Wednesday, March 11. With a strong team of 32, ranging from Year 7 to Year 12, all swimmers swam their hearts out and we are very proud of them. Student leaders stood and cheered and recorded the results. It was a dedicated team effort.
Notable 1st place performances:
Intermediate Medley Relay Harrison Carlyon, Angus O’Keefe, Bailey McQuie and Bailey Meek.
U15 A/B Backstroke to Angus O’Keefe 33.37, and Jack Bennetts 36.55 respectively
U14 B Breaststroke to Harry Robinson 30.50
U15 Butterfly to Angus O’Keefe 30.01
U16 Butterfly to Bailey McQuie 30.11
U15 A Freestyle to Angus O’Keefe 28.57
U16 A Freestyle to Bailey McQuie 28.15
U16 C Freestyle to Xavier Connell 30.20
U15A Freestyle Relay 4 x 50m Jack Bennetts, Khy Jess, Angus O’Keefe, Fred Valpied.
U16A Freestyle Relay Xavier Connell, Angus Murnane, Bailey Meek, Bailey McQuie
Official overall results gave us 2nd place to Ballarat and Clarendon College.
