Appointment of Deputy Headmaster

The governing body of St Patrick’s College, Edmund Rice Education Australia has today issued the following statement at- this link– in relation to the appointment of a Deputy Headmaster for 2018:

-It is with much pleasure that I announce that Ms Elizabeth Ryan has been appointed to the position of Deputy Head Student & Staff Wellbeing at St Patrick’s College, Ballarat effective from Term 1, 2018.

Elizabeth is an experienced leader in Catholic education and is currently the Acting Deputy Head – Student and Staff Wellbeing at St Patrick’s College.

Previously she has held the positions of Director of the Senior School and VCE Coordinator at St Patrick’s College.

Elizabeth’s other leadership roles include Chief Executive Officer of the University Department of Rural Health, Tamworth; Director of the Continuing Legal Education Department and the Inaugural Schools Community Legal Liaison Officer for the Queensland Law Society and Assistant Principal at St Vincent de Paul Catholic School, Strathmore.

Elizabeth is an Honorary Fellow of the Federation University of Australia and previously was a Fellow of the International Teaching Fellowship of the United Kingdom.

Elizabeth complements her leadership experience with a sound academic record having a Master of Business: Educational Administration from the University of New England, a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology, a Bachelor of Education and Diploma of Teaching from the Institute of Catholic Education, a Graduate Diploma of Educational Administration from the Philip Institute of Technology and a Professional Certificate of Instructional Leadership from the University of Melbourne.

Elizabeth is an active member of St Patrick’s Cathedral Parish, Ballarat.
