August 21, 2021 – College update on COVID-19

August 21, 2021

Dear Parents, Carers and Guardians of St Patrick’s College,

Once again, we have been forced into a period of lockdown due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

St Patrick’s College is ever mindful of the impact on both wellbeing and on learning that this constant state of flux is having on all our students and staff.

With that in mind, for this coming period of remote and flexible learning, the College will introduce an altered timetable for all days.

The new timetable, listed below, will remain in place for the duration of the lockdown period and aims to provide scope for increased breaks and more time away from the screen during the day.

The College will also schedule a student-free day on Monday, August 23 for all Year 7 to Year 11 classes. Students in Unit 4 subjects (including those in Year 11) will be contacted via Microsoft Teams in online classes according to the new timetable on Monday. Please note the College Reception will not open on this day.

From Tuesday, August 24, as in previous lockdowns, students requiring on-site supervision during class times will need to register using this link.

Sadly, due to this lockdown, our planned Father’s Day Mass and Breakfast is now cancelled.

We thank all for their ongoing understanding and co-operation as we strive for the best possible outcomes in these most challenging of times and we hope to see everyone back on-site on Friday, September 3.
