Australian Catholic Youth Festival Information

September 8, 2015

The Australian Catholic Youth Festival (ACYF) is a national gathering of Catholic young people established by the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference. It exists to provide young people with opportunities to deepen their faith and participate in the vitality of the Church in Australia. The three day festival involves a celebration of faith through prayer, music, recreation, seminars and presentations.

The first Festival was held in Melbourne in December 2013. A small group of senior boys from the College attended the event and it proved to be an enriching and enjoyable experience for all involved.

In 2015, young people are invited to attend the ACYF hosted by the Archdiocese of Adelaide from December 3 to 5. St Patrick’s College is partnering with Loreto College, Damascus College and St Patrick’s Cathedral to form a Ballarat diocese group composed of students from each of the Catholic secondary schools and facilitated by staff.
