Fire Awareness Day – Saturday November 16 at  G Gay & Co Mitre 10

Whilst many parts of Australia have been experiencing prolonged drought, our local dams are full and there has been prolific grass growth over the past few weeks.

It will dry out soon though and all that grass growth means an increased risk of fire.

G Gay & Co Mitre 10 and the local CFA brigades have joined together to hold a fire awareness, planning and preparation day at our Gillies St store on Sat 16th November.

There will be a BBQ for lunch as well. Please click on the following link for the Fire Awareness Day Flyer.   GGay Fire Awareness A4 R1

This is a free event for those of all ages, and will be located next to the Inclusive Playground, at Victoria Park.

We are thrilled to have live performances from Ruby Gill, as well as local legends Floc, Meraki Minds, Gangz, and Roy Darby!

There will be activities for all ages, amusements, face painting, and food trucks such as The Hippie Whippy, Country Baked Potatoes, Whataburger, and Bean Me Up.

Spring in the Park will also host a market area, which will showcase a range of homemade goods… perfect for some early Christmas gift shopping!
