News around the Boarding Precinct
-
It was a wonderful occasion this past Sunday when we were able to unveil our new Kitchen and Dining facilities for the Boarding Precinct. Over 130 friends, family, staff and our Boarders attended the historic event, which is now the final piece of our Precinct puzzle. Congratulations to all involved in this development -“ our Boarders are especially thankful to have their own Dining Room within the Precinct.

Good luck to our Boarders and the First XV Rugby team as they head down the highway to Xavier College on Saturday to contest the VSRU State Grand Final. The team have worked hard all season and it has been a credit to those Boarders involved, all players and the coaching staff to achieve all they have this season. We wish Mr Silcock, Chris Tuitea (12), Pou Siola’a (12), Inoke Siola’a (12), Eddie Sauvao (12), Regan Champley (12), Koni Wolfgramm (11), Josh Wilson-Stanton (11), Ethan Jessop (11), Kayne Councillor (11), Damien Vincent (10) and Archie Pollard (10) all the best for the game and we know they will represent themselves and the College well on this grand occasion.
-
Congratulations to all players involved in the First XVIII Football campaign this season. Ten of our Boarders took to the ground in a practice match on Wednesday against Xavier College in their last hit out prior to the Herald Sun Shield Grand Final. Focus is now on the match on Saturday, August 18 at the MCG and we wish all of the Boarders well as the selection process for the Grand Final team commences.

It was wonderful to see several of our Year 9 Boarders attend the recent St Patrick’s College and Loreto College social. The Boarders looked fabulous in their suits and ties and had a wonderful night of dancing and making new friends.
-
Congratulations to boarding students, Bradley Singe (9) and Alex Byham (10) who have just recently returned from a very successful music tour to Sydney. Alex was a member of the Senior Stage Band who came away with Gold at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Well done to both boarders and we look forward to your next performance.
