Class of 1963 celebrate 60-Year Reunion

March 20, 2023

Old Collegians from the Class of 1963 had plenty of catching up to do at their 60-Year Reunion this year.

About a dozen Old Collegians were able to join us for their Class of 1963 60-Year Reunion, which was held in conjunction with the SPC Old Collegians’ Association St Patrick’s Day Lunch, on Friday, 17 March, at the College’s OCA Pavilion, overlooking the spectacular and newly-completed white picket fence which encircles the recently-redeveloped Main Oval.

Despite a number of apologies, about a dozen Old Collegians, who either graduated in 1963 or were due to graduate in 1963, travelled to Ballarat for the 60-year reunion.

For those Old Collegians, including 1963 College Captain Bill Joyce, Daryl Teschendorf, Kevin Sullivan, Andrew Seaburgh, Brendon Stahl, Robert Re, Damian Goss, Mick Bongiorno and Prosper Labb, it was a thoroughly enjoyable day of catching up and reminiscing about their days at SPC. They were also joined by a number of Old Collegians who were at SPC on either side of 1963, and made strong friendships during this time.

Thank you to all those who attended, including partners, and particularly Bill Joyce, for his hard work in helping the College to track down and contact former classmates in readiness for the reunion.
