Class of 2003 reunite at 20-Year Reunion

May 8, 2023

We were delighted to welcome back around 50 Old Collegians from the Class of 2003 to celebrate their 20-Year Reunion at St Patrick’s College in early May.

It was a great evening as Old Collegians, some with their partners, enjoyed the opportunity to catch up and reminisce with their former classmates.

A tour of the College buildings and grounds proved popular, with Old Boys keen to see what has changed and delighted to recognize some of the buildings and spaces which still look familiar two decades on.

The Class of 2003 were formally welcomed by Deputy Principal Ric Brodrick and Allan McKinnon (SPC 1966-69), past president and committee member of the SPC Old Collegians’ Association.

There were numerous apologies, including 2003 College Captain Lachlan Keen, who is currently living and working in London, however it was great to see 2003 Vice Captains Matthew Doyle, Simon Harwood and Joshua Jellett in attendance.

Another highlight of the evening was the viewing of several videos, organized by Dan Parry, showcasing a collection of photos and comical videos from 20-odd years ago, of many of the guys on the night as their teenage selves back in the year 2003, including footage of a large group of  Year 12s making their way through the McDonald’s drive-through on foot.

Thank you also to former teacher Jane Butler for returning for the reunion, along with current teacher Danny Moore, who was starting out on his teaching journey at SPC in 2003 and enjoyed a year of teaching firsts at SPC alongside the Class of 2003.

We thank the members of Class of 2003 for attending their 20-Year Reunion and we hope to see many more from the Class of 2003 at their 30-Year Reunion.

We hope you enjoy some photos from the evening.
