Resources for VCE subjects

Students studying VCE subjects at St Patrick’s College will find a diverse range of resources through the VCE Resources website. Recommended by St Patrick’s College subject teachers and the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA), VCE subjects have pages of useful links and relevant material. Specialist databases like Science in Context and the History Reference Centre, which provide access to journals and eBooks, can be accessed from the pages.

We also offer more general resources to help build students’ knowledge and understanding of the world around them. Some databases may require a password. It can be found in the KRC section of the student SIMON homepage.

The online Encyclopedia Britannica is reliable source for research and BrainPop provides video lessons, quizzes and games about a vast range of topics. Flipster hosts a range on eMagazines and our Read around the world page allows students to read newspapers from all over the globe. – Students can access ClickView for educational videos and these can be downloaded to their device and watched offline. There are also audiobooks of English and Literature texts.

Access to the missed/rescheduled SAC form can be found on the main page. The VCE Resources website is sure to have something of value and interest for all students studying VCE .
