Movie night to raise funds for footy trip

July 21, 2015

The St Patrick’s College football programme has organised a fund raising movie night at the Regent Cinemas for Thursday, August 20.

All funds raised through the night will be used to help offset costs for students and staff attending the 2016 Tour of Ireland and the United Kingdom which will take place in the term 1 school holidays.

The Regent Cinemas have generously donated the use of their large cinema for the night. We are very fortunate to be able to have access to the opening night of the film “Southpaw”, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rachel McAdams and Forest Whitaker.

Southpaw tells the story of boxer Billy Hope who turns to trainer Tick Willis to help him get his life back on track after losing his wife in a tragic accident and his daughter to child protection services.

More information on the movie can be see at this link

The screening will commence at 6.30pm on Thursday, August 20 with tickets costing just $15.

Tickets can be purchased through the College Shop or by contacting Sharyn on 0421 052 969.

We hope to see as many members of the wider College community there as possible. Book your ticket now.
