Old Collegian, Brownlow Medallist and College Legend Brian Gleeson (SPC 1947-52) has been appointed the Australian Ambassador for an international reunion of members of the Gleeson family and will travel to Ireland in August. Anyone interested in more information about the Gleeson reunion should visit http://gleesongathering.blogspot.ie

It was the end of an era recently for Old Collegian and SPC Legend Jamie McKew OAM (SPC 1960-65). Jamie was the founder of the Port Fairy Folk Festival and has since been named Australia’s longest running festival director. However, in March after 38 years and 40 separate festivals, Jamie retired from his position. Jamie has been credited for launching the careers of countless musicians and as a GP by trade and a healer by nature, he saw music events as a therapeutic art. We congratulate Jamie on a fantastic career in music and wish him the best for the next phase of his life.
