February 3, 2020

Congratulations to Old Collegian and former College Vice Captain Luke Wilson (SPC 2008-13), pictured,

Luke Wilson played the lead role in the 2013 College production of Sweeney Todd.

who has won a role in the upcoming production of “50 Shades: The Musical Parody” which will be played at Her Majesty’s Theatre later this month.

Luke was a fantastic participant in school productions in his time at SPC and says that love of the theatre encouraged him to pursue a career in the performing arts.
“I was always involved in the school theatre productions and played numerous roles in them up until Year 12,” Luke said.
“It played a massive part in my life and inspired me to continue pursuing the craft into university and now into real life.
“I’ve recently been cast in a professional production of 50 shades the musical parody.
“It is touring to Ballarat on the 27th and 28th of February and would be an awesome event for Old Boys to come to. It’s an 18+ show due to the themes but is an absolute cracker of a show.
“Also, it’s a good show for blokes who wouldn’t normally go to the theatre due to theatres sometimes being a bit pretentious. This show isn’t at all like that.”
