Twelve Angry Men

Rehearsals of the 2022 College Play, Twelve Angry Men, are in full swing. The cast are busy preparing ahead of production week in May.

Keep your eyes peeled for ticket information at the start of term 2! A huge thank you to the SPC Wood Tech team who built this wonderful custom table for the performance (see below photo).

 

House Theatre Sports Competition

The annual House Theatre Sports Competition returns in 2022 in Weeks 7 and 8. This event will take place over two lunch times, Thursday 17 March & Thursday 24 March in the Black Box Theatre. Students are encouraged to come along and participate in drama improvisation exercises, earning points for their house. The winning house takes home this hamper pictured below!

DAV Debating Years 9-12

DAV Debating returns in Week 8, taking place on Wednesday evenings over five rounds at Ballarat Grammar. Students participated in a training workshop this week and are looking forward to getting into the season. We wish our debaters all the best and will update you with results after round 1!

Rostrum Public Speaking Competition

Students in years 7-12 are invited to participate in the Rostrum ‘Voice of Youth’ Public Speaking Competition. Students must prepare a speech based on the topics provided. Topics and Registration forms can be received from Ms Allen: mallen@stpats.vic.edu.au
