School of Rock tickets on sale

March 28, 2024

Tickets for our first whole school production in our new Performing Arts Centre are now on sale.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s award-winning smash hit musical School of Rock premiered on Broadway in 2015 and has since been seen on stages around the globe.

Based on the hilarious hit movie, this musical follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band – sensationally performed by our talented actors with roof-raising energy!

Head of Drama Monique Allen said the College was proud to stage this fantastic production in the new Performing Arts Centre.

“Our whole school production, School of Rock, is looking phenomenal and the cast and crew have put in hours of rehearsal so far in making this musical shine,” she said.

“Featuring hilarious comedic performances, touching emotional moments, and exceptional talent from the whole cast, this is one you don’t want to miss.

“We invite the wider school community into our new theatre to experience for themselves the rising momentum of the Performing Arts at St Patrick’s College in this historic opening school production.”

School of Rock will be performed on Thursday, 16 May at 7.30pm, Friday, 17 May at 7.30pm and on Saturday, 18 May at 1pm.

Tickets cost $25 for adults, $18 for children/concession or $75 for a family of two adults and two children.
