The College recently reconnected with Ned Fay (SPC 2016-21) who is currently studying law and is a fourth-generation Old Collegian.

Where has life taken you since leaving SPC?

I’m currently completing the final year of a Bachelor of Laws at Deakin University in Burwood.

Do you have family ties with SPC?

I am a fourth-generation Old Collegian.

What are your fondest memories of your time at St Patrick’s College?

I miss the tuck shop and will always remember it fondly, alongside many great memories.

Which teacher from your time at SPC had the greatest impact on you? Why?

Mr (Nathaniel) Winfield’s profound patience always impressed me, especially in contrast with Mr Joosten’s lack thereof.

How has your education shaped your professional life?

SPC was fundamental in developing collaborative skills that have been crucial in my professional pursuits.

How has your time at SPC shaped your personal values and your family life?

SPC also allowed me various platforms to express myself, exposing me to different people and perspectives.

If you could pass on one message to the students of today, what would it be?

My message would be to cherish both the ups and downs of high school, embrace the details!
