Referencing at St Patrick’s College

When researching, students use data charts and bibliography forms to collect their information in an organized manner. This makes it easier to acknowledge the source of the information. Students can download bibliography forms and data charts here.- We use the APA referencing convention. Students can also use the online referencing generator to create a list of references.-

In-text citations can be tricky as they need to follow the APA contentions. An explanation on how to make an in-text citation can be found here.- There is also an explanation on how to use them and how to paraphrase to avoid plagiarism.
